Cross-Country Skiing in New England Splendor

In recent years, x-country enthusiasts skiing The Landgrove Community Trails have enjoyed the most snow cover in south/central Vermont!  That means that our trails retained skiable snow coverage longer than most other touring centers, providing ideal conditions through early spring.  We’ve been deemed by many to be the best-kept x-country skiing secret in the Green Mountains.

Our 15k of tracked and groomed trails are meticulously maintained by instructors Carl-Erik Westberg and Rob (Sugar Bob) Hausslein and vary in difficulty from beginner to intermediate level.  Meandering through wide open meadows and protected woodland, our trails delight guests with magnificent mountain views and an occasional glimpse of our diverse wildlife in their natural element.

Best of all, comfort and conveniences are never more than a stone’s throw away.  Because our trails surround the Inn property, you’re never too far from the warmth of a fire and cup of hot chocolate after an invigorating afternoon of skiing or snowshoeing.
